Resumé

The Golden everyone wants. Intelligent, handsome, loving, driven & biddable - with all the health clearances to boot!

We trained Duke from basics through his HRCH, at which point his owner became impassioned enough to take his training over from there. Duke's WCX title as well as his Master passes were all earned with his amateur handler standing next to him. 

He is now standing at stud to approved females.

Skills

Duke is the reason people love Goldens. 
Drive/Desire: High drive! Always excited to go to work & truly enjoys pleasing his handler & revels in his own success on training or testing setups.
Personality: Duke is exactly what every Golden should be & the reason America has always loved them. Smart, funny, loving & kind. If you want to go pick up ducks - he's game for that. If you want to hang on the couch and watch a movie, he'll keep your feet warm.   
Build: Classic Field Bred Golden frame. Taller & more slender.
Marking: Marking is fantastic. I've never trained a dog that could out mark Duke on Super Singles. Can struggle with memory at times on complex multiples, but that was when he was younger. As he's matured, the memory component has clicked. 
Handling: Like butter on a hot plate. Smooth and easy to handle. Very willing to please. Doesn't know the meaning the word: cast refusal. 
Hunting: NOT just a test dog! Duke has hunted waterfowl across the country from the prairie potholes of the Dakotas, to wood ducks in the swamps of Georgia. Hauls in midwestern Honkers with no issue.
